Ready for battle

Acts 1:16,17 ‘…concerning Judas, who was the guide for those who arrested Jesus. Judas was numbered among us and was allotted a share in this ministry.’

Dealing with that deep seated internal conflict, how do you deal with that war within that just will not go away? Understanding the strategy of the enemy, isolate you from the other soldiers of Christ and try and isolate you from the General of the battlefield our LORD. Isolation can come from pride, ‘‘I can do this on my own…will call on God when I need him.’’ What about dissension in the ranks of the soldiers of Christ? The enemy’s reach is far and subtle. Ephesians 6:12-17 ‘For our struggle is not against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against the authorities, against the powers of this dark world and against the spiritual forces of evil in the heavenly realms. Therefore put on the full armor of God, so ….stand your ground, and after you have done everything, to stand….with the belt of truth buckled around your waist, …..breastplate of righteousness in place…and with your feet fitted with the readiness that comes from the gospel of peace. In addition to all this, take up the shield of faith, with which you can extinguish all the flaming arrows of the evil one. Take the helmet of salvation and the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God.’ Bless you.

Prayer. Holy Father, thank you for blessing me to be a soldier in your army, may I carry all your armour. Thank you for the rain in western Cape of South Africa, please bring rain in the dry parts of the world that need it most.
