Gathered around Jesus

Mark 7:1 ‘Some Pharisees and teachers of the Law who had come from Jerusalem gathered around Jesus.’

Our LORD Jesus can represent different things to many people. Imagine being in the presence of the Son of God, God himself and looking at criticizing and hating Jesus to justify one’s thinking or lifestyle as the Pharisees and teachers of the Law did. “But I would never do that.” Jesus is so close to you, but by action people may actually be living like Pharisees – outwardly religious. This close to Good Friday, the Pharisees were plotting Jesus’s downfall. “But I would never do that.” Mathew 25:35,37,39,40 ‘For I was hungry and you gave me something to eat, I was thirsty and you gave me something to drink, I was a stranger and you invited me in,.. “When LORD did we ever see you hungry…or thirsty.. a stranger… or naked… or sick… or in prison? I tell you whenever you did this for one of the least important.. you did it for me. Bless you.
