Strength

Romans 4:16 ‘And so the promise was based on faith, in order that the promise should be guaranteed as God’s free gift to all’

“I am a victim because of…….” A promise is a commitment from God. Are you residing in the hurt and pain of the present, especially if suffering ill health or with loss of a loved one? Mathew 28:20 ‘I am with you always [remaining with you perpetually—regardless of circumstance, and on every occasion], even to the end of the age. Jesus is with you…each step. “How can there be a gift with pain/loss?” Pain and loss are temporal, salvation with Jesus is eternal. Even in great pain or loss you are called to continue giving thanks, gratitude to God will bring that elusive peace. 1 Thessalonians 5:18 ‘Be thankful in all circumstances, for this is God’s will for you who belong to Christ Jesus.’ Great peace awaits you in Christ. Bless you.
