Straight paths

Proverbs 3:5,6 ‘ Trust in the LORD with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding; in all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make your paths straight.’

Doing it my way or God’s way? This is often a vexed question; we so often apply our worldly reasoning which we feel makes absolute sense. We are reminded in Isaiah 55:8 "For my thoughts are not your thoughts, neither are your ways my ways," declares the LORD. Difficult to believe? Implicit belief in the faith you have in God and that he has made promises over your life. Jeremiah 29:11 ‘For I know the plans I have for you," declares the LORD, "plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future.’ Bless you.
