Proclaim the Good News

2 Timothy 1:11 ‘…to proclaimthe Good News, and it is for this reason that I suffer these things.’

How can suffering be linked to good news? It is a path that all must take, it is not something to fear but to embrace as in difficulty we find Christ. Today may you feel and find the strength for the journey. A runner who is up early training each day sacrifices sleep and the comfort of a warm bed, on race day he/she will enjoy the fruit of his/her preparation. You can become spiritually fit by spending time with God. Are you waiting for ill health/loss of faith to overtake you or are you looking at keeping your body/your temple fit and healthy with correct eating, appropriate exercise and time with God? Sickness and difficulties will knock on everyone’s door one day, will the temple door and structure be well constructed? Bless you.

Prayer. Holy Father, may we proclaim the good news in word and deed.
