Wisdom of Solomon?

1 Kings 11:4 ‘He was not faithful to the LORD his God, as his father David had been’

King Solomon the son of King David had been gifted with great worldly wisdom. Vs 3 ‘They made him turn away from God, and by the time he was old, they had led him into the worship of foreign gods.’ Attributed as the wisdom of Solomon?…. He achieved greatness in the eyes of the world –the wisest man who ever lived and yet fell into idolatry in this greatness. Subtle or overt idols in our lives can compromise our hearts. Who resides in the largest room in your heart? Is worldly wisdom a step into idolatry? Are you putting any activity or possession on a higher mantle than God? Bless you.

Prayer. Holy and blessed LORD, a great thank you for guiding your children, may we keep faithfulness to you. Please reconcile and restore Lambert and Ida and heal and restore Felix, Darren, Lidia, Jacqui, Colleen, Joyce, Berni, Bella, John, Sunay, Caitlin, Rotraut, baby Mathew, Wally, Jimmy, Ralph, Mark, baby Daniella, Barbara, Vianna, Austen, Keith, Sheila, Johan, Marius, Rose, Lesley, Jimmy, Joanne, Branda, Roger, Don, Petra, Racheal, Pauline, Billy, Bernadette, Jenny, Sarah, Stacey, Paul, Maria, Teena, Debra, Trish, Michelle, Pedro, Charlotte, Chad, Anton, Mary, Nicky, Lidia, Tony, baby Mia, Kathy, Michael, Brandon, Mark.
