It is more blessed to give than to receive

Proverbs 19:17 ‘Whoever is generous to the poor lends to the Lord, and he will repay him for his deed.’

Good sisters and brothers the autumn evenings and nights have turned much colder in Johannesburg. Please consider giving blankets to church/ where you see the need or as part of our church’s feeding ministry, you can contribute, we take out food, and when available blankets, jackets and shoes each Friday for the homeless – these are mostly entry skilled people who look for work daily. We would welcome any of above. Pep stores have a special on blankets, Ackermans have winter jackets at very reasonable prices, old jackets would also be most welcome, all sizes. Acts 20:35In all things I have shown you that by working hard in this way we must help the weak and remember the words of the Lord Jesus, how he himself said, ‘It is more blessed to give than to receive.’” You can make a difference. Please feel free to email me should your heart be convicted to give. Bless you.
