Good soil

Mathew 13:23 ‘But what was sown on good soil is the man who hears the word and understands it’

Our God does what is often the opposite to what we may reason or think. Giving to others has no perceived direct physical benefit – especially to those that have no means to reciprocate. Serving others could be considered as having no direct benefit. Good sisters and brothers when we put aside self in the equation and embrace God, then these anomalies start to make sense, because we are doing these things for God and not ourselves. Our LORD works with what we may consider irrational – losing a life to save ours…. Jesus was the sacrificial lamb. If there is a lost part of your heart, there is space where it can be rediscovered, reclaimed though under new ownership…for our LORD and Saviour. That is the only space to be in. Bless you.
