God’s perfect timing

John 7:14 ‘Not until halfway through the Feast did Jesus go up to the temple courts and begin to teach.’

Discernment of when or when not to preach, speak, encourage, listen or other prompting is important for us all. Jesus with his great understanding may have felt that people when hungry would not be attentive to what he was saying, he waited until halfway. We may feel there is an opportunity, but, is it the right opportunity? Psalm 37:7 ‘Be still before the LORD and wait patiently for him.’ This week you can in readiness be listening out for God’s perfect timing for you to act and or to receive the manifestation of God’s wonderful glory shining around and over you and those you love. Bless you.

Prayer. Holy LORD and King, may we be listening out for and to willingly act on your perfect timing.
