Luke 11:78 ‘…to shine on those living in darkness and in the shadow of death to guide our feet into the path of peace.’
How do you look at this world? How do you look at people around you? Which words are you listening to within? “This country and world are beyond help” or “I am going to be a vessel of light for God to shine on those living in darkness.” A great weapon is peace, it transcends the darkness. Love, compassion, understanding and forgiveness can be used as weapons of light ……God’s war on darkness. Have you voluntarily signed up in action for our LORD with your heart? Or do you need to wait until darkness tries to close out the light in your heart. We are cautioned in Mathew 24:10 ‘At that time many will turn away from the faith and will betray and hate each other.’ We may ask how can good defeat clever manipulation, lies, networks of deceit. We are reminded in Isaiah 55:8 ‘"For my thoughts are not your thoughts, neither are your ways my ways," declares the LORD.’ Our God’s ways are mightier than this world. Do you believe that? Bless you.
