The unrushed relationship with God

Psalm 131:2 ‘But I have stilled and quieted my soul;’

Many going back to work today. In the Information age, there are applications that can give information at the touch of a button, satellite, emails, 24 hour tv news, newspapers. People making demands on your time. Do you feel the busier that you are, then the more you are in a spiritual desert away from God? Do not let the intense demands of busyness and flow of information exhaust you this new year, good brothers and sisters there is a space waiting for you today –called time with God. Not a rushed panic shopping list of prayers, but a time of absolute silence and abundance. Psalm 37:7 ‘Be still before the LORD and wait patiently for him;’ then Philippians 4:7 ‘And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus.’ Are you looking for the peace of God? Stillness…. praise God…..confess to God…. thank God and then ask of him….in a relationship that deserves your daily time. Bless you.
