Times to bless

1 Chronicles 16:43 ‘….and David returned home to bless his family.’

What type of blessings do you bring home? This new year you can wait a few minutes before entering your home, perhaps after a busy and possibly stressful day. Give the day’s turbulence over to the LORD…take a breath. It may be so easy to say, “Give me space…get me a drink…..where is the newspaper…where is the TV remote…what’s for dinner? Process mechanisms differ by person………. when you step inside your home be ready to bless, by asking how each family member is, listening attentively without interrupting, inviting God to bless each one of your family out aloud. Acts 20:35 ‘..LORD Jesus himself said: “It is more blessed to give than to receive.” May God bless you.
