Can one miss out on salvation?

1 Corinthians 9:27, "…. lest after preaching to others I myself should be disqualified."

We need to take heed and guard the requirements for the promises of salvation. St Paul encourages us not to be over confident, but rather to work out our salvation. “How can I work out my salvation?” By understanding the promises of God, by allowing the Holy Spirit to write God’s laws on the tablet of your heart. Does attending church give automatic access to God’s Kingdom? The Pharisees were the religious of the day in Jesus’ ministry, Jesus the architect of salvation tells us in Mathew 5:20 ‘For I tell you that unless your righteousness surpasses that of the Pharisees and the teachers of the law, you will certainly not enter the kingdom of heaven.’ Repentance is more than a once off event, it is confessing and turning towards God…frequently. Good brothers and sisters please do not allow yourselves to become disqualified. Bless you.
