Year-end time

1 Corinthians 15:33 ‘Do not be misled: “Bad company corrupts good character.”

As year-end parties appear on the horizon, a time of celebration and perhaps over indulgence in food and alcohol. Would it be a career damaging move not to drink alcohol? Or is the year-end function for those who attend a time to show their faith, to show that you can enjoy yourself without alcohol or with moderate intake and travel home safely to your family. Acts of unfaithfulness may be perpetrated at year-end parties, one’s inhibitions may be lowered with alcohol and in an atmosphere of celebration. Do not be misled – we are disciples at work and home. There are surely many special people in a work or social environment; choose wisely. Bless you.
