Working through doubt

Mathew 28:16-18 ‘Then the eleven disciples went to Galilee, to the mountain where Jesus had told them to go. When they saw him, they worshipped him but some doubted.’

After the disciples had witnessed that Jesus had risen from the dead –‘but some doubted.’ You too may have witnessed great workings and blessings from God and yet doubt may linger. After all Jesus had been through, to face doubt from his disciples could have been hurtful to him. How did Jesus address this doubt? Jesus responded with this great commission. Mathew 28:19 ‘Therefore go and make disciples of all nations’ We can learn that even when close to Jesus we too can doubt, in working for Jesus, in actively choosing to go out into the harvest field, harvesting in love for our LORD, will push the sin of doubt outside the storehouse of souls. All eleven disciples worked through their doubt and worked for Jesus. What a wonderful LORD we have. Bless you.
