Our LORD is just waiting to reward you

Acts 8:20 ‘But Peter said to him, “May your money perish with you, because you thought you could buy the gift of God with money.”

Peter indicated that this man by attempting to buy God’s favour and gifting would perish. The man stated to Peter in verse 18 “Give me this power too.” The gifts from our LORD money cannot buy. How does God then reward with his gifts? God looks to our hearts: Is the gift for me to own and use at my discretion, or is the gift for me to use for God’s glory? Have you sought out in devoted prayer the gifts God has planned for you to use for his glory, your growth and well-being? We are encouraged in Hebrews 11:6 ‘But without faith it is impossible to please him…and he rewards those that seek him.’ Is your existence and your faith operating in the realm of meal to meal, weekend to weekend, birthday to birthday, holiday to holiday, work to retirement…..or is there far more? Is your faith a fire inside of you that is driving you to diligently seek God and his rewards? Or is the perceived reward of this world good enough? There is great reward waiting. God bless you.

Prayer. Holy Father, please reveal your gifts to your children seeking you. We thank our LORD that Kevin is now cancer free and can be removed from the prayer list. Please heal and restore Teena, Ingrid, Debra, Trish, Michelle, Pedro, Charlotte, Chad, Anton, Mary, Fr Stanley, Nicky, Lidia, Tony, baby Mia, Kathry, Michael, Brandon, Mark and Peter. Amen.

Please advise by end of this week should you wish to continue to receive these readings/ meditations, if not already confirmed.
