What about tomorrow?

1 Corinthians 13 : 6,7 ‘Love….always protects, always trusts , always hopes , always perseveres.’

Fr Terry challenged us all at the mission, “The churches have too many members and too few disciples.” We have often built higher walls, installed sophisticated alarms, commissioned armed response services…looked at creating a substantial sense of worldly security around us. What about spiritual security, does that transcend our worldly security? Are we going to let the enemy triumph out there in a discipleship void? Or is ‘out there’ just too uncomfortable to contemplate. Does going ‘out there’ violate our deeply ingrained sense of self-preservation? What we sow in discipleship today will bring a harvest for us, our children , brothers and sisters tomorrow.

Prayer. Holy Father, please bless all brothers and sisters reading this mail. Amen
